Good morning! I’m going for the
most inconsecutive entries. So far, so good.
Friday—I don’t remember what
happened other than children went to school and I didn’t.
Saturday—we did some cleaning of
the house.
Sunday—we had some changes in
leadership at church. We also had Seth’s birthday party since his birthday was
the next day (yesterday). He requested stroganoff, chocolate cake with white frosting,
and chocolate ice-cream. That’s what he got. He made a pretty good haul, too.
Pictures will be forthcoming but not today because I have to charge my phone first;
it died in the process of taking birthday party pictures.
Monday—I went to the hospital
because there was an induction and a c-section. I was late because I thought I
could get a ride with Joanna because she had school and then she could pick me
up after. Well, the Jeep wouldn’t go. So we had to take the green car. So I was
going to be late but I ended up being even later. Had I been there at 7:00, I probably
could have gone in for the c-section. As it was, I felt very unneeded due to
the circumstances. Still, I checked in every half hour and I did as much
knitting as I could with the yarn that I had and I did a LOT of reading. I now
have less than 50 pages to go and I’ll be done.
This morning Seth was doing some
pondering. He was talking about charging his truck (he got a really cool remote
control truck from Zak and Joanna for his birthday) and out of the blue he
said, “We only have five hours after school.” This is true. Almost. They get out of school a few minutes
before 3:00. Between 3:00 and bedtime, which at our house is 8:00, there are
only five hours. Next he said, “We are in school for way too long. We should be
in school for four hours so we can spend more time with our families.” I agree.
And with that, I will bid you
good day. Have a wonderful one!
